Jewelry Care
GOLD FILLED JEWELRY: Anaïa 18k gold-filled jewelry are designed to last for several years. How you care for the item will determine how long they will last and shine. Gold filled jewelry can react with chlorine, salt water, skincare products, perfume, hand sanitizer and sweat. We recommend removing your jewelry before showering, swimming or hitting the gym. To clean your gold-filled jewelry, place in warm water and mild soap, let it soak for about 1 minute, rinse, and lay flat to dry.
GOLD PLATED: Anaïa gold-plated jewelry is 18k triple gold plated. Wipe your gold-plated jewelry regularly using a soft cotton cloth. Avoid bringing the jewelry in contact with water, chlorine, sweat, alcohol and other chemicals. We do not recommend wearing gold plated jewelry to the beach, pool, nor while exercising.
STERLING SILVER: Sterling silver jewelry can be cleaned using any silver cleaning solution. Keep in mind that if the jewelry is gold-plated sterling silver, the gold color may fade over time if it is repetitively exposed to water and chemicals, including sweat.
STAINLESS STEEL: Stainless steel does not tarnish, and it is hypoallergenic. Stainless steel jewelry does not need to be removed when showering and can easily be washed in a warm water and mild soap solution.
